Collaboration: AJ Atelier in Oaxaca, Mexico.
Hand dyed and woven wool rug from a Zapotecan family in Oaxaca. The goal was to promote fair trade and cultural exchange between artisanal practice.

The Centro Valley de Oaxaca is known for its consistent heat wave.
Local Zapotec festival at the cathedral square.
Yarns are collected, washed, and dyed with boiling water in aluminium pot.
Each yarn colour is hand spin manually.
Each line is woven patiently and meticulously with attention on detail.
